Ireland Strategic Investment Fund commits €250 million to housing finance
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund announced four housing investment commitments totalling €250 million and said it had exceeded its original target of supporting 25,000 homes by 2030. ISIF set a new objective to support another 25,000 homes by 2030, while the new commitments span construction finance, real-estate credit and homebuilding equity.
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund announced four housing-investment commitments totalling €250 million. The commitments include €100 million to the Avenue Ireland Opportunities Fund, €25 million to Avenue Europe Fund VI, €100 million to Cardinal Real Estate Finance Fund III and a €24 million follow-on investment in the Irish Homebuilding Equity Fund. ISIF said it had exceeded its original target of funding 25,000 homes by 2030. It set a new target to fund an additional 25,000 homes by 2030, raising the total target to 50,000 homes.
