Reuters reported that the facility is expected to be available in 2028 and forms part of DataVolt's planned AI campus, illustrating the PIF-backed company's stated capacity ambitions.

Reuters reported that Temasek and Khazanah Nasional were anchor backers of Granite Asia's Libra Hybrid pan-Asian private-credit strategy, which raised more than its $500 million target. The report placed the commitment alongside increasing private-credit allocations among Asian institutional investors and a $1 billion Asia-Pacific direct-lending mandate secured by Partners Group.

Reuters reported that Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund L'IMAD planned to buy out the remaining publicly listed shares of AD Ports while revamping its strategy. The development came as disruption in the Strait of Hormuz focused Gulf governments on ports, pipelines and related infrastructure, with Reuters reporting potentially substantial additional investment needs.

Mubadala Capital has entered a definitive agreement to acquire a majority equity interest in Arrive Logistics, a North American truckload brokerage. Samruk-Kazyna reported January-to-July 2026 revenue of KZT 12.5 trillion, 5% above target, and net profit above KZT 1.2 trillion, 4% above plan. The fund also reported KZT 694 billion of contracts with domestic producers, a 32% year-on-year increase, alongside KZT 52.8 billion of offtake contracts.

Reuters reported that the fund returned 14.8% in the year ended June 30, exceeding its 8.0% government-mandated target, and that assets rose to A$356 billion at June-end.

Reuters identifies QIA among investors in Alibaba's AI-focused share sale

Reuters reported that the Qatar Investment Authority was among sovereign investors participating in Alibaba's US$10.2 billion share sale. The offering, intended to fund chips, AI infrastructure and models, drew US$28 billion of orders. Reuters said a person familiar with the matter identified QIA, while Alibaba and QIA did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
