Mubadala and Embraer sign aerospace supply, MRO and R&D framework

Embraer and Mubadala signed a Strategic Framework Agreement at the Farnborough International Airshow covering supply, maintenance, repair and overhaul, human-capital development and research and development. The companies said they would jointly plan training, knowledge transfer and work placements at Embraer facilities for Emirati talent. The agreement includes a pathway for Mubadala-backed Strata Manufacturing to become a tier-one supplier on Embraer platforms. The parties also plan research on composites, additive manufacturing and high-temperature alloys, with an ambition to create a co-located innovation hub.
