Ontario Teachers' provides up to €200 million for M&G CLO platform
Ontario Teachers' agreed to provide up to €200 million of investment capacity for equity investments in future M&G Margay CLO issuances. The agreement also gives Ontario Teachers' participation in the long-term economics of M&G's European CLO business. M&G said Margay manages €1.6 billion of CLO assets within a broader €10 billion loan platform.
Ontario Teachers’ and M&G Investments agreed to a joint venture supporting the scaling of M&G’s European collateralised loan obligation platform. Ontario Teachers’ will provide investment capacity of up to €200 million for equity investments in future M&G Margay CLO issuances. The arrangement also gives Ontario Teachers’ participation in the long-term economics of M&G’s European CLO business. M&G said its Margay platform manages €1.6 billion of CLO assets within a broader €10 billion loan platform, and capital will be deployed investment by investment under an agreed framework.
