PIF reports 5.8% annualised shareholder return for 2025

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund reported a 5.8% annualised total shareholder return in its 2025 annual report, compared with 7.2% at the end of 2024. Revenue rose 9% to $120 billion and net profit more than doubled to $17 billion, while gross assets under management fell modestly to 3.396 trillion riyals.

PIF reported a 5.8% annualised total shareholder return in its 2025 annual report, down from 7.2% at the end of 2024. The fund said lower valuations of some assets amid wider market conditions affected the return, while higher portfolio-company dividends and financial-investment returns were positive factors. Revenue rose 9% to $120 billion and net profit more than doubled to $17 billion. Gross assets under management were 3.396 trillion riyals, compared with 3.434 trillion riyals a year earlier; local investments represented 76% of AUM, international investments 20%, and treasury 4%.
