Temasek targets AI exposure of up to 15% of portfolio by 2031

Temasek aims to lift artificial-intelligence exposure to as much as 15% of its portfolio by 2031 from 6% currently. Reuters reported that its net portfolio value reached a record S$518 billion, with a 10.5% one-year return in Singapore dollars, while private credit and core-plus infrastructure are also targeted for higher allocations.

Temasek said it aims to increase artificial-intelligence exposure to as much as 15% of its portfolio by 2031, from 6% currently. It identified energy and data centres, semiconductors, cloud providers, foundation models, and AI applications and software infrastructure as focus areas. The state investor reported a record S$518 billion net portfolio value and a 10.5% one-year return in Singapore dollars. It also plans to raise private-credit exposure to 5% by 2031 from 2%, and core-plus infrastructure exposure to 5% from 1%.
